Instructions can be found on the application form: Apply for partial credit transfer (Always contact our Study Counsellor before you apply!) In order for us to assess an application, it needs to be stated who the student is, what the student have studied and passed; and what course the student which to do a partial transfer of studies to. The easiest way to do this is by e-mailing the Student Councellor, master@fek.uu.se, the following documents: Course Syllabus including the literature; Certificate of registration on the course in question; Application form for transfer of credits (pdf) Credit transfers for compulsory courses are carried out by the director of studies of the third-cycle program courses at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy. Credit transfers for a component of a compulsory course or another course, are carried out by the course coordinator of the particular course. As a student at Uppsala University you may study courses during one or two semesters at one of our partner universities. Because we have an exchange agreement there are no tuition fees to be paid to the hosting university. You may also apply for transfer of credits towards your degree from Uppsala University. Payment of the tuition fee can be made by bank transfer or credit card.

A maximum of 90 credits of postgraduate study can be considered for credit transfer into an undergraduate degree. You have to be able to provide evidence of your previous study. When you apply for credit transfer you will need to support your application with official evidence of your previous study.

Ask your study guidance counsellor about any forms and routines. A formal credit transfer is always needed for programmes and courses taken abroad. The Graduation Office determines whether credit can be transferred. You apply to the Degree Office, but the documents are submitted to your study guidance counsellor.
